Noise and Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness |
||
|
Greater Manchester Police has received reports of anti-social behaviour involving groups of young people at local retail premises. Such behaviour can have a significant impact on shop staff, customers, businesses, and the wider community. We are working closely with retailers, local authorities, schools, and partner agencies to address these concerns and ensure that our shopping areas remain safe, welcoming, and respectful environments for everyone. We would like to remind all young people that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Those involved may be subject to warnings, Acceptable Behaviour Contracts, Community Protection Notices, or criminal proceedings where offences have been committed. We also encourage parents and guardians to speak with their children about responsible behaviour and the impact that anti-social behaviour has on others. If you witness anti-social behaviour or have concerns about activity in your area, please report it: 📞 101 for non-emergencies By working together, we can support local businesses, protect our communities, and create a safer environment for all.
